Does anyone knows what type of turbo is in the Carisma 1.9 TD with the F8Q engine?
And how to give it more hp?

I dont know much about the turbo diesel, but i do know it;s not a mitsubishi engine, it;s actually a renault diesel engine, acording to a friend who's a mechanic.

and wikipedia agrees, maybe some renault forums might be able to help.

as for giving more power all you need to do is turn up the boost, how you do this depends on wether the turbo has a mechanically controled waste gate or an electronic one, you'll hace to find that out first. Dont forget to make sure you have sufficient cooling for the extra boost, also it's a good idea to fit a boost guage so you can see what the boost is and what you turn it up to.
