I have recently bought a 1998 carisma GDI 1.8 GLX and was wondering if it should have remote central locking. I have to open and lock the door manually with the key and I am surprised that the central is not operated remotely.

I am now wondering if it does have remote central locking and the previous owner lost the key with the transmitter.

So, if you have a similar car does it have remote central locking?

If it does, can anyone recommend a 'cheap' key supplier?

they dont come with a plip,the person i bought my carisma had one fitted thou by toad dont no how much it costs i am afraid

you can get the remote locking kits on ebay for £30 upwards
