I just bought a 2007 Endeavor LS AWD that does not have the fancy LCD info screen...just the basic clock and radio info. The manual shows that many functions can be adjusted with the LCD screen in the higher models...is there information on how to do this in the LS somewhere? For example, changin the horn sound to a light flash when locking the car using the remote..etc.

nothing can be accessed or changed on the base model EXCEPT for the lights and horn answerback feature of the keyless.

you cannot alter anything else as you would be able to with the high end display.

Great! How do you do it? It doesn't appear to be in the manual.

Thanks.

to turn the horn answerback feature on and off, you need to be in the car, with the key out of the ignition.
Hold the "lock" button on the fob down for exactly 5 seconds. On the 6th second, depress the unlock button. Do not release EITHER for another 5 seconds.
When you do release both on the 10th second, you should hear a tone from inside the car. That signifies youve either turned the horn on or off, depending on what it was set too.

To do the same for the lights, just follow those same directions, but start with the "unlock" button.

Note that the horn will only answerback when locking.
