I just bought an Eclipse avn 726:
Along with a 10" Boston G3 sub
A pair of Boston SPZ 50.
And a Audison SRX5 Amp to power everything.

My favorite car audio store was having a sale today, I picked up the Boston speakers and sub for half price; the amp was 30% off, I think I did pretty good, the only 'ouch' factor was the navi system, $1250.00, but,...what the hell, its my baby!

Yup, they had the demo on display, new shipment of the multi navi/dvd/cd/ipod thing I bought will take a few days, add in my 10 hour day shifts, leaves me saturday next week for installation,... (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

Well,...I took my baby to the installer, took about 6 hours; I wish I could take apart my own stereo and speakers like some of you guys could, but I can't without getting effed up n pissed at what Im doing,...anyway,...the sub box was 3/4 the trunk space, and it was LOUD, I cranked it up to 50 (out of 75 volume setting) I'm sitting still in my car and my hair was moving to the beat, my t shirt was vibrating..but it was 3/4 of my trunk space, I still gotta carry my golf clubs and stuff too,..the head unit looks amazing,...the touch screen navi unit along with the dvd player is incredible!! The voice on the navi system can be changed to anything I want, from a voice with a UK accent to a Dutch accent along with language spoken by the navi unit, I can change the setting to show my car as a simple triangle on screen to a 3D setting where the roads, important points of interest and buildings scroll by,..living in bum fu*k Saskatchewan, I was impressed at the number of unnamed grid roads that showed up my screen (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) ...some minor issues I have, I wish it could display the cd art work like my ipod, and maybe scroll through the songs (left to right) for the longer song/album titles,...*meh* small sacrifice I guess,...the component speakers effing ROCK, the door speakers have a 1" excursion, I love my Metal, and I love to play it LOUD, the stock speakers I had were nice, but these Boston speakers are absolutely incredible, I'm lucky I found them at 1/2 price; I took the sub box back and got a smaller enclosure, it was just too big, sorry to everyone that thinks I wussed out on that part, but its my car, my money and the sub box was too big,...sorry,...the scoche (?) fitment is nice, a little snug when I open the face place/screen to access the cd/dvd's, but minor things that can't be remedied...New job, new car, new stereo,...and I've only driven 20K since Oct '08,...nice,.....my next upgrade you ask?
K&N cold air intake
Borla Exhaust
Remote starter
maybe an accent color on the body,...
