a sigma 2ltr and gearbox will go straight in and usally only have to probs driveshaft cover needs to be trimmed bak so driveshaft can go into gearbox and the std 1600 engine mounts are bit tight to get in place just slog the holes a bit there heaps of fun wit 2ltr ,ive built a few ex lancers im currently done a rwd sigma turb conversion easy as if you're mechanicly minded motor uses std 1600 mounts and the factory 1600 gear box mount drive shaft has to be altered tho get a professional to do that, use all sigma or starion turbo gear , clutch master cylinder has to recessed into the fire wall bit of a mish there very hard to find as they dont make replacement parts for turbo ex anymore all parts are ex japan and very dear il ,i have the front bumper every ones after off ex 2000 i am a welder/fabricator so if anyone in nz wants something made for ex just ask away

nice box type tonyx44! glad to see a fellow filipino here in the forums! hehe... i currently own 2 box type lancers... both were given to me by my older brother... '83 gsr & '85 sl... the sl is my daily driven car... body is very fresh... everything that needs to be replaced with the underchassis have already been replaced... stock 4g33 engine... solex twin carb... 4:1 headers... scabbed muffler... stock 4 speed 4g33 tranny... "17 rota impact rims with 205 le mans rubber at the rear and 195 yokohama rubber at the front... custom front bumpers... pioneer sound system... luisi racing steering wheel... need to work on the interiors since it's quite bare... the gsr on the other hand already needs a body repair... it's already scheduled for a full body repair at my uncle's shop this coming may... but the underchassis, engine, and tranny have already been fixed... stock 4g32 engine... 4:1 headers... straight pipe exhaust... 5 speed 4g63 close-ratio tranny... "13 enkei rims with 185 goodyear rubber on both the front and the rear... luisi racing steering wheel... interior is fine but needs fixing on some parts... planning on putting a 4g63t mivec on the gsr once the body repair is complete... then will put the 4g32 of the gsr to the sl... i will post some pictures of my box type lancers within the week... anyways, that's it for now... i'll just update everybody with the latest news of my box types...

these are nice cars, but it seems like you have to do a lot customization to get them to go? Although, it would be worth it, the way i see it.
