Hi

I have got a 1995 RVR Sports Gear 4x4 petrol 2L turbo. As I have not got the owners manual can anybody tell me how much oil it takes. Am about to change oil + filter.

Thanks

It depends on your outside temps but generally a 10w40 is suitable. I'd consider using a synthetic oil like Amsoil or redline because of the turbo.

Hi Jim

Thanks for your reply. What I really need to know is the quantity of oil to use. I do intend to use fully synthetic for greater turbo protection.

Thanks

My mother-in-laws 1.8 litre NA takes 3.5 litres including oil filter. I would say your good for a 4-litre pack which is about average size.
