please don't quote me, but i'm pretty sure the drive shaft is the same on 91-99, so wouldn't all the axles be the same?

No.

You need whatever axles match the transmission. So, if you have a 92 car, and a 96 transmission, you need 96 axles.

there is no driveshaft on a FWD car... The driveshaft is on AWD/RWD cars that runs from the transfercase to the rear differential to power the rear wheels.

The axles come out of the sides of the transmission to drive the front wheels.

You need 93-99 fwd axles. If you have a manual trans, then you need a manual trans driver's side axle because there is a difference in the intermediate shaft part (shaft length, diameter, and mounting bracket). The passenger side can be either from an automatic or manual trans.
