Well since yu say yu cave a recon turbo , well delete the turbo itself burning the oil. One issue that will cause this , we had covered a section here about it. Blow By , and Diesels can be affected by this also. If the cylinder walls or wall of one cylinder has high wear most of the compressed cylinder air will flow into the crankcase causing higher pressure and oil in higher than normal amounts into the crankcase ventilation system.

Also Failing piston rings will also cause this same issue. It can be also juss one piston doing it also, the rings can not be totally bad but causing compression bypass. Also a failing piston. Also sum models 4D and 4M's preferably 1995 and 1996 starting had an oil catch system for the crankcase ventilation system , when the reverse flow drain plugged , or malfunctioned it did not drain or drain the oil to the bottom of the engine , resulting in oil being blown into the cleaner/ air ventilation system of the intake

Also yu may want to check yur oil drain backs on the cylinder head. Also on the cam cover , lots of times the oil splash gaurd that is at the upper part of the cam/rocker cover that blocks the ventilation port of the secondary crankcase ventilation. The oil run off sections could be corroded and blocked , leaving lots of oil on the upper section of the ventilation splash shield. Ive seen this a few times.

having to remove the cam/rocker cover and twice soaking it , and other times take it to like , a car wash (LoL) or high pressure system to clean out the inner side of it to remove the lodged and baked up old oil deposits that are trapping oil on the upper splash shield. Ive seen this on many petrol engins as the 6G72 and 6G74 (3.0,3.5) In Pajero's and Tritons etc and also 4M4 and a few 4D Diesel engined vehicles also
