Finally today I installed my Alpine W505 which comes with a 7" screen (whole face plate is motorized) and used scocshe kit to install it.
Well didn't go as planned, the faceplate was getting stuck while ejecting cd by pressing itself against the top of the kit.
I tried two things to solve the problem and it worked perfectly.
1. Trimmed off the top plastic piece of the kit so the screen would have some more space to move when it's opening, had to take off about 5mm using dremel
2. Had to bore out screw holes on the stock brackets 1-2mm (the ones close to the faceplate) This way unit would angle down few degrees, and would give some more space for the screen to move around.

Now for ppl with the same issue, try the second method first before you will start cutting into things, might be the only thing needed for it to angle properly.
I had only one kit available so had to try cutting first, and adjusting the angle after.
Just take your time on boring, make test fitments before making the screw hole bigger, assuming that aftermarket kits are poor quality and might have different fitment angles.

Hope that helps, no pics of the installed product yet, will have to snap one this weekend on how the cut out kit looks, so maybe more ppl will try to avoid this method. But seriously the gap is not really noticeable unless you look under there.

but it looks way worse. "quality wise"

scoshe looks more like a factory installed thing, plastic is of somewhat of the same finish as the factory components.

It sounds so bad to have some gaps and uneven edges after the installation .
The kit should be fit as it is designed specially for the car.

Here are our products special for Mitsubishi :http://www.autoaudiovideo.com/index.php?main_page=index&cPath=91&zenid=700edb5ec25a028540d672e4fde2ceab
And before sending to customers ,all of them are to be tested carefully to ensure there's no problem on installation and work well.
