Hi, How many 02 sensors are on the japan 1991 Mitsubishi Gto twin turbo. The only one I can see is in the back part of the cat, and I dont know if that is the egt sensor. Trying to get it to pass e-test, and i cant find the right 02 sensor for it.

there should be only 1 o2 sensor on each side of the engine bank

just after the exhaust manifold part of each turbo

so that makes two.

I posted on another forum and they said that there is 2 sensors, one up front and the one in the back of the cat. But i have looked up front and cant find anything on the pipes. I dont know if because it is a japan car it only has one 02 sensor. Trying to figure it out so i can get it to pass etest lol.

the o2 sensor on the back of you downpipe is your ONLY primary o2 sensor. i do not know of there are others.
do you have a check engine light? if so then i would suggest checking it out. but if you do not have a check engine light then don't worry about it.

It wont pass because the hc and co levels are high at idle, when they rev the car the numbers start to go down. I looked again tonight but i swear there is no 02 sensor on the down pipe. Maybe I am just blind lol, but im positive there isnt one, i will take another look in the morning, it was dark and I only had a little flashlight, maybe I missed it lol. So it being a car imported from japan (rhd) that has nothing to do with it.
