for manual transmissions how do u now when u have enuf oil in the trany
i changed out my clutch a few weeks ago and i changed my trans oil to royal purple
there is a bolt on the side of the trany i took it out filled the trany with oil untail the oil started to come out
it took 2 1/4 quarts i was told thats the way you do it

how do you clean out slug out of the motor what works the best because i have a 94 with 150k on it and the last owner did no do shit to the car but drive it

the car seams kinda slugish

I just tried the 'gunk motor flush'. It was easy to use. I'll let you know if it fixed my problems.

yes, that's the correct way to fill the tranny. I used BG Synchroshift when i did mine...made a world of difference.

in regaurds to cleaning the sludge out... Personally, id be worried about suddenly having all that crap flowing through your engine, clogging up lifters and your filter and whatot. The way i'd prefer to do it is go with a thinner synthetic, like mobil 1 10-30, which will gradually do the same thing. just dont beat on it while your running the thinner stuff.
I have no rhyme or reason behind my way vs the strait detergent approach...just my own peace of mind, however dilusional it may be lol.

Kind of the same story with Sea Foam. I've heard amazing stories about good results, but i'll never use it.

what is BG Synchroshift is that a trany oil
and sea foam would that clean out the sluge and crap that is in it

good ok because after u use the sea foam u have to do a oil change and change out the spark plugs and its about time i do that
