ok so this issue is a very odd one. i am working on a 1990 mitsubishi mirage with a 1.
the owners have replaced:

ignition coil
distribuitor cap
rotor
spart wires
spark plugs
fuel pump

the car will not start.
the engine will turn over like normal, compression is good, valve timing is dead on, ignition timing is dead on.

when the key is cycled there is no fuel pump action, when cranking there is no fuel pump action.

when the key is on there is voltage present on both sides of the connetor of the ignition coil
when cranking there is no spark

when key is on there is no voltage present at any of the wires on:
Throttle position sensor
Mass air flow sensor
Manifold absolute pressure sensor

i have not checked if there is voltage at the fuel pump
but my guess is that there is no voltage.

is there any one out there who would have any idea of the problem.

that faulty engine computer is wat i was thinking.

i do not think it has an emobiliser
do u know where it might be?

also would you happen to know how to test if the engine computer is bad
any ohms tests or voltage tests?
