Yes , to this yu are correct. There are models like the 4G93t which uses the variable voltage feed and pulsator at the pumpo to control the pressure. The fuel rail on most these models are close , meaning onlee one port in and no return. On other models as on the Mirage Asti and some Carisma models the pressure regulator is embedded into a section of the fuel rail. Disguised actually . But an adjustable pressure feed is available for this model.
