I have a '90 GTO twin turbo. The shocks are starting to get bouncy so Im looking at replacing them. I am probably going to get coil overs all round. Has anyone else done this and can suggest a particular brand they do or dont recommend? I take it the suspension is the same for my car and the 3000GT?

Hey mate. Where in WA are you? We need to hook up. There's a few of us here now. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

As far as the suspension goes, there's a few ways. If you want to go cheap, K-Sport and D2 are your go. For around $1300AUD shipped, you can get 36 way fully adjustable coilovers. If you spend a little more, you can get yourself some Teins. (aeound the $2200AUD area I believe) There is also Megan racing coilovers. I know very little except they are awesome from other members comments.

Hope that helps.

Hey mate!
Im in Perth (Parkwood to be exact), both my brothers have Vr4 Legnums aswell.
It would be good to meet up with other GTO/3000GT owners as it can be hard to find any local knowledge (we do alot of work ourselves).
My email is philip@cytolabs.com.au if you wanna drop me a email (easier that way than using the forums).
Yeah the Teins are around $2200 and I was also looking at the K-sports. One of my brothers met a guy who used the ISC N1 (see http://www.isc-warehouse.com/index.php?mai...d89fca9adafe46) which are supposed to be awesome. I am prob goin to use them I am just tryin to get someone to tell me they are the same as the 3000GT as they only have listings for them. We dont do any track use though so I dont need to go too hard core and am not really interested in dropping the current ride height for practical reasons but for the cost of normal shocks I might aswell do the coilovers and be done with it.
