Been a lurker here for a while, but spending most of my time in the Outlander section...

Here are pics of my new baby. The silver hood in the bottom left is my 96 Eclipse, looking on with jealousy.

I accidentially put this here instead of newbie forum...sorry!

Welcome and congrats. I too like the white the more I see it. I have black which looks great, is real deep, but shows every scratch, chip, and spec of dirt. The wicked white is hot. Enjoy.

Very nice. I love how people are tinting the windows & blackening out the front end on the white cars.....looks so hot! Especially if they do something with the rims as well....love the white....can't ever go wrong with it.

Since it is new.....better put on some sort of 3m tape by the wheel well openings by the back wheels & maybe some more on the front of the car. Since you have been lurking around....you probably already know this. DARN CHIPS!

Thanks for the advice, SixFeetDeep...I have been reading about it...I was looking at RRM's CF spats....

The first thing I plan is to tint the back 3...then an axle back exhaust...not sure which though, still researching sounds...At some point I want to black out the splitter bar on the front grill...then next will be a short ram...I'll probably try and get new rims when I buy new tires...

NY-09GTS: I usually buy Silver, Black or Charcaol cars. My Outlander is the first white car and it looks great, my only complaint is that it the back end always looks dirty from roa grit...my Sister actually thought my car was gray from far away...

When I went to buy the Lancer I was intending to get either Silver or Charcoal, the White was the one I test drove and just liked it. Alot.

I beg to differ. Rotor Glow is GTS & Ralliart exclusive and more expensive for a reason.

getting a little (IMG:style_emoticons/default/offtopic.gif)

But to add, that's why rotor glow costs more, because they didn't mass produce it. They wont make money on the few they'll sell compared to the other colors so they have to charge for it. It's just a metallic paint job, which is paint with metal flakes in it. A Pearl paint job, which contains round pigments of other colors, is usually more expensive and in my opinion, looks better. Like tarmac black pearl, or graphic gray pearl, or octane blue pearl. The rest of the colors are metallic and I think wicked white and rally red are high gloss.
