Hi,

Bought an fto gpx, m reg... problem is when i go to start it nothing, i can hear no click etc.. just some sort of relay noise, then it goes, just every so often, what coukld it be as it is frustrating...

dirty and/or loose battery terminals most likely? Slight chance the battery cables are loose at the other end like on the starter or engine ground.

real common for people to tighten the battery terminal clamp with it at the top of the battery post. The battery post is tapered so it's smaller at the top. If the terminal is at the top of the post the clamp will tighten on itself and not on the post. Loosen the clamp way off, push the terminal all the way down and re-tighten.

If you can grab either bat terminal and twist it by hand, it's too loose.

Dave,

I've moved your thread to the Eclipse section as you posted in the RVR section. Although your question is fairly generic to any vehicle it is more appropriate to have in the right section. I note that we do not have a special section for FTO so belive it is similiar to rthe Eclipse. Forgive me if I am wrong but am not familiar with this model.
