Hi everyone! I'm from southeast Louisiana and I just bought a 2002 Eclipse RS. It has a few little problems that I hope to get info on here. Well I hope the problems are little!! I don't know squat about cars so we shall see if I got ripped off!! I paid $4300 for it. It has 114,000 miles on it, new brakes, fairly new tires and the interior is in good condition.

cant tell about the engine tho...

also hopefully all the maintenence is up too date.....stuff like timing belt, tune up,valve cover gaskets ...stuff like that

I know. The girl wanted $4800 for it and I was trying to get her to go down to $4000 but she wouldn't go any further than $4300. I replaced the stereo b/c w/out IPOD/MP3 hook ups I would have gone nuts. Well that was a nightmare! My neighbor did it and just about went nuts but he finally got past the unknown amp under the pass. seat! lol See, I know nothing bout cars.

My passenger floor is fine but my driverside floor is another thing. I get the occassional sopping wet floor that I see is a common problem among these cars.
