I have a 09 GTS I just got a few weeks ago. I rarely listen to the radio but my GF wanted to listen and we noticed the reception was bad. I Checked the antenna...which was recessed into the housing. It has a blue plastic plug like screw that will unscrew...but for the life of me I can't figure out how to get the antenna to extend. I looked through both the car manual and the Navi manual but can ony find how to remove it if it's already extended...

I know it's going to be something simple...but I am prepared to look like a fool!

Man, if that's true, it's a crappy antenna...getting bad reception...hmm looks like I'll have to replace it with something better!

look in your trunk or glove box the chucklehead who did the pdi at the dealer u bought it from didnt install the antenna...

the little plug protects the threads..

the antenna screws into the hole...

and if it isnt in the car take it back and make them give u one

Thanks SRSONE, I think you're right. It would fit...when I test drove it, it didn't have the plastic turn/knob for the ignition...I had to ask for it and they snagged it off another GTS...I'll check witht them tomorrow.

It's not in there. I looked in the glove box and in the plastic bag my manual and other info came in, the door holders, the trunk and under the carpet and spare tire, under the seats...nothing.

Anothe thing, I was reading the manual, it says that in addition to the two key fobs there should also be a small item with the key number on it so you can order spare fobs if one is lost/stolen...should that be in the car as well or does the dealer hold on ito it?

Thanks,
