The Versa has 122HP & a whoppin 127TQ

The stick version which he does NOT have runs 0-60 in a depressing 9.5 so with CVT it could add on another full second....yes?

1/4 mile time for the stick is 17.1 @ 81MPH.




According to what I can find on the 2008 Lancer GTS with CVT is something like 8.5-9 seconds 0-60

1/4 in around 16.8 @ like 87mph.


Obviously I am going to be a little quicker.....but he plans on putting a 30 shot of NoS on his car. I told him his poor car would blow up immediately making me the winner HA-HA!
But he thinks otherwise. Now normally I don't race....I drive for mileage & maybe attack an on-ramp from time to time...but that's it........

So what's your thought on this.....his little 2007 5 door CVT Versa (stock...except for the juice) VS. my 2008 Lancer GTS with CVT & with the Injen Intake, Magnaflow Cat-Back & Pulstar Pulse plugs.....kid seats in the back & Plasti-Dip on the front grill LOL.

It/s my wife's nephew......he's silly with cars & thinks that everything he buys has to have nitrous on it & the car will then supposedly beat anything out there I guess LOL!
Plus he keeps telling me to get it for my car. Aw hell no!
I just want to shut the guy up. He is driving me nuts with always asking me to race.....for what I keep asking??? I didn't buy this car to race it isn't made for that. He is soooo persistant.

The versa is actually a rather quick little car. My fiance has one and it has beaten many ions, cobalts, and even a few 1g/2g eclipses. It weighs next to nothing as well. He would stand a chance if it wasn't for the CVT

He is supposed to come out to my house this coming up Sunday.
We'll see if he brings an excuse or what with him........last I talked to him....now he doesn't have the nitrous....but is getting it........as the story goes on.....who knows.

I have NOS, I will refer to my kit as NOS. But then again I've also had a ZEX.

Update.....STILL no race.......still no nitrous on his car....WTF?!
Oh well....he talks the talk but can't back up shit.

you guys race yet ? oh, and the CVT, i built a few of them, metal drive belt, (or the sheen) they do break very often, my own opinion, is not built for race car, for my, the true stick shift is my choice, they're not the best, but if we drive it right, it can handle the extras add on.

I want to race him... Tell him my car is slow and I'm faster then his... Tell him...

Update.....STILL no race. He keeps telling me that he is getting this & getting that done to his car....but he still don't have shit done to it.
I'm not going to waste my time......in the end....we both lose....these cars aren't made for racing.
