Does anyone have any tips/advice for changing a waterpump in a 93 DOHC? I need to do it myself so taking it in is not an option. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks,

you should buy a service manual and make sure the timing belt is lined up perfect or severe engine damage can occur.

You basically have to remove everything you see on the timing side. I find it easier to remove the engine mount as well.
I'm talking the timing cover, p/s belt, alt belt. Oh yes, jack the car up and remove the tire. It's a weekend job or longer if you're not to knowledgable.

When you have the 60000 mile service you should always change the water pump . The labor is redundant because they have to take all of the stuff off above the water pump and all you have to do is swap it out . This is from mitsubishi because the water pump is so hard to get to . I dont think you want to try this at home .
