is it auto? sometimes if im driving in auto and you come to a complete stop quickly (esspecially on incline) the sudden drop in revs and accelleration causes it to stall, just like when you drive a manual.

dammit!!! everyones asking the same question again and again. adjust your idle or change your sparkplugs!!! change the plugs first and if that doesnt work adjust your idle.

Sure you could adjust the idle, that doesnt however neccessarily fix the problem. Your idle shouldnt just change on a car unless you do something to it to cause the idle to drop. For example my 2004 es 2.0 SOHC has an issue which Im currently working on. At times the car starts, and seems to run smoothly. Other times it doesnt want to start and stay running, if it does turn over it idles very roughly. I pulled a p0335 and P0340 on my scantool. Calls for a camshaft sensor, and crankshaft sensor. However the code hasnt appeared now for a while, I have restarted and scanned the computer several times.

Like someone else already said, try checking any vaccum lines and make sure there isn't any holes, deterioration, or collapsing in the lines. Also, it may be a sticky Idle air control valve.
