is it really true that the rrm sri causes idling issues? I read about someone who had an issue, but it was because he put on a K&N filter over his RRM.
I wanted to get an RRM intake, but is there anything that i should know before i get it? I searched around the forums, but I am not at peace. THanks for the help!

My RRM SRI is working fine. No problems, no idle issues (in fact I never heard anyone say they have idle issues). I don't see how putting a K&N filter on would affect it at all, should be the same as using the RRM filter. Car breathes much better, gains hp and torque, sounds bad a$$.
If someone had idle issues my first guess would be a problem with the install. Maybe the mass air sensor is not seated correctly, or they kept the stock o-ring and didn't use the o-ring provided by rrm, or they have a leak somewhere.
Nothing special to know, it's made well, easy to install, and has a good price.

Installation was improper.
