Whats up fellas! I'm happy to join the club. Just turned in my 1990 Lexus LS400 (cash for clunkers) and got a Lancer ES. I put my Enkei rims on there and ordered a spoiler. Its a great car and I'm lovin the handling. It was pretty difficult to go from the 4.0 Liter 290 HP V8 in the Lexus to the little I-4 in the Lancer, but in the end it was the best decision to get this car.

I've been reading on here and it doesn't seem like there is much I can do to really get this sucker flyin'. So I'm thinking I'll just go with the Cat Back Exhaust and the Cold Air Intake. (Brands? Advice?) Will this do anything for the car's performance at all? I also plan to get a clear bra to prevent chips and a window tint.

So far, I'm pretty happy with the car. It's no 09 Lexus thats for sure, but much more reliable than the old LS400. I plan to drive it for about a year and hopefully sell it for a good price and look into getting something a little faster. Any comments or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Enjoy the ES and welcome to the forum.

Search in performance and you'll find all the info you need on exhausts and intakes. They will help with performance.

Decided to order the window tint myself off Ebay, in precut window sizes made for the lancer. I got a 5% tint on all back windows and 20% on front...Oops I think thats illegal (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) Much better than paying someone $200, I only payed $35. Also looking for clear bra to install myself. The one I can order for $40 covers the amount that costs $700 in a shop. Also, I found out that the spoiler the dealer added on costed $300 more than what I could have bought it for online (added to price of car building interest). ****!!!!!! AND My friends dad said he could have lowered the payment $30-40 less per month. I could have almost had a GTS!!!!! What are you guys paying per month for your GTS'?

30-40 a month is 1500-2000 of dealer discount on a 60 month note, on any mitsubishi other then the EVO there is 1000-1200 in markup.... You do the math.

autoanything.com is hosting a deal going on only today where I get the Magnaflow CAtback exhaust shipped for $480.00. I am really considering doing this right now. I can't find any other catback systems around this price but the only thing holding me back is that someone mentioned a guy on ebay selling them for $380. If I dont buy today I miss the $480 deal and end up paying about 100 more in shipping and + 10%
