Hey!

Recently a person at a car show was saying how a non turbo car can still use a BOV through the stock vaccume lines to have that cool turbo sound. Would this be possible?

Yes i know it wouldnt serve any preformance only sound but i was just curious to see if that would actually produce a sound from vaccume i didnt know it would create enough to produce a sufficient sound. Thanks!

actually i dont think that a bov could ever be used on vaccume because it is a vaccum not a high pressure hose where it would need to be released. so i dont think you could even use one on vac

its not that your dumb...its a dumb idea.... the point of a bov is too keep the turbo overpressuring the manifold...it actually has a purpose...

on a na engine it wouldnt be needed... if u just want the noise...thats fine...its your car do whatever u want...

why would u whant your car to sound like its fast and has turbo when as soon
as some one on the street whants to race you are going to luse any respect u have and
people are just going to talk shit pn ur car

bov on an NA
a man if ur not a racing tipe and just like the way it sounds
go for it man u should also put an inercooler in the frunt of your car
for looks

its up 2 u
i did not think u could hook up a bov to an NA in the first place and if u did it would not be loud enuf
to hear shit

Wow.......Thats the most ricer question I'v ever seen on this forum in the whole year I'v been here. Vacuum line BOV sounds....Whatever happend to those crappy turbo whistlers all the ricers were using? I wont smash on you too hard though cause you said someone at a car show told you. That dude should be ashamed of himself for even spreading word of something so retarded. Let me take a guess though...he was in a 80's model honda accord with a wing on the back right? i think they sell a " turbo BOV simulator" device, you can go ebay and find it, should be very easy to put on, i think it won't even needs vacuum to operate, works of your TPS or so.
