My check engine light is on for awhile and I took it to two different autozone. Both said two different things after checking my car. The first said it was my o2 sensor and the second one said it was gas leakage. The only code i remember is the P0455. Has anyone had this issue and how did you make the engine light go away. I need this fixed ASAP...got an emission test on next Tuesday.

P0455 is an Evap leak. Replacing the Gas cap normally fixes this.. Basically, it means there is fuel vapor that is escaping where it is not supposed to.

I had that same code for 8 days a while back. Of course it cleared the day our OBDII reader arrived. You can buy your own as cheap as $55 and read and clear codes for yourself and others instead of taking it to Autozone.

Here is a link to what we bought so you can see it:

You might be able to find one locally. It'd be better than failing your emission check and having to park the car. Just clear the code and take it in for the check.

BTW my light happened after I overfilled the tank and got gas all the way up the filler neck. It has not come back since.

so you're saying that I can just clear the code and then take the car to the emission test..but cant they still find that something is wrong..

Personally i would goto a dealer and buy an OEM gas cap. The aftermarket caps are made to fit multiple vehicles and dont always seal the way they are supposed to.
