As the topic states, I am looking for 96-2000 Starwagon workshop manual for my wife's 2.4L 96 Starwagon GLX.
I need to work on a few things nd would appreciate some technical data etc.

Does anytone know where I can either download or buy a copy of a workshop manual for this model?
I have tried searching online, at the car shops etc and had no luck.

Cheers. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/thumbsup.gif)

howdy, have you tried your local public library, mine had one for an L300 which I used, they should be able to look on their database and have one brought in if there is one at another library for a short loan (if they hold one that is)

Forget it,been doing the same for 3months for my 96 WA 2.4 5speed Starwagon.Dealers dont have it,mitsubishi never released the info to the 3rd party

Try this;

http://catalogue.nla.gov.au/Search/Home?lo...an=1&filter[]=subject-cluster:%22Mitsubishi%20Express%20Van%2FStarwagon%20Satelite%20automobile%20--%20Maintenance%20and%20repair%20--%20Handbooks%2C%20manuals%2C%20etc%22

Natonal Library in Canberra...But u cant access anything, unless got a card.Im in the process of getting one.Its easy, just fill out the form takes 2 weeks i believe. This is our ONLY option.

Since the manual was never released, the local library does not have a copy.

Tech Junkie, how does that site help?

All I could find was operators manuals (which comes with the car).

I am now trying to get manuals for the engine and then I will try and take notes on any maintenance I carry out, so that it might help others.

I might even write to Mitsubishi to what info I can get them to free up, or even see fi I can buy a Mitsubishi mechanics manual.

I said "Not to the 3RD party" never said anything about the "local library"..

All i was saying that "Original" book/s was at the National Library at Canberra..To be able to access it u have to become a member.

You cant find a copy anywhere else..

Cant u people read ??? AAARRRRRGGGGGHHHH

Tech Junkie, read my post, I was replying to another member regarding the local library, THEN I addressed you.
Please also read my original post which is that I am seeking a workshop or repair manual. Your replies seem to only be mentioning original operators manuals. These booklets are just the owners booklets that come in your glove box with the car. That is why I asked how you thought that link was helpful, how does this help me to show me a link to a search result listing 3 owners manuals?
Or are you saying that these operators manuals are going to tell me how to carry out maintenance on my vehicle?

Perhaps people who live in glass houses should not throw stones (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

IF anyone knows where I can find a manual which will tell me how to do jobs such as troubleshooting and changing electric window motors or doing the timing etc etc, please let me know.
