Hey i just bought a 1991 3000GT SL. with about 96000 miles. It is my first car so im not too upset that its not a turbo- even though id be much happier if it was (IMG:style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif) .... but yeah reading your posts, a conversions it too costly and id be better off just trading in and buying a Turbo.
SO im gonna work on this car and be satisfied!.
it doesnt run right this second, i havent really got a good chance to look at it, been busy and what not. but driving it from the guys house i bought it from (2 blocks away) the car would seem to wanna stall.
were convinced it might be the converter, or the air filter? not sure.
Besides that all i need is minor repairs, and a new winsheild : | lol
i do want a new center council though (IMG:style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) mines, not really intact, and someone slapped some shitty leather on it in an attempt to make it look better---FAIL might i add.

ideas i do have, Make it look nice. I wanna paint it, probally sometime in the spring. i wanna make it Jet black with a metallic flake paint.... hows that sound??

YEAH so if anyone has any suggestions, ideas....feel free and id appriciate the guidance and opinions!

start with the basics...stalling could be a dozen things, so check the easy stuff first. Change oil, check all fluids, change filters, etc. It may be a problem with your MAS (check and make sure its plugged in (IMG:style_emoticons/default/wink.gif) )

for stock OEM parts (like the center consoul) try:

IPS's prices are really good, but they dont have that big of a selection...but they are expanding. Much more Aftermarket-based

I do know, i want a new exhause, it has what i consider a "fart can" for an exhause..i dont like the extra noise, id like to draw less attention to my car (IMG:style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
any suggestions for an exhause system? somthing not so. expensive :] haha
