Basically, I spent a lot of time and money building up a 1g 4g63t for a project last year... I was planning on putting it into a 1993 Hyundai Excel as a sleeper. I have since decided against finishing said project...

HOWEVER. I have a motor sitting in my buddy's garage with near $8000 invested in it, and no potential buyers for it at all yet.


I might as well use it, right?

It's from a 91 Talon. I was looking into putting it into a 95-99 Eclipse, but after doing a bit of google research, it looks like it would take waaay too much effort to get it in there.

I'm basically wondering what cars of what years this motor will all fit into with no more effort than just putting it back into the same year talon it came from.

I need all-wheel drive; that's basically the only other criteria.


I've considered maybe a 93-94 talon... and also considered older galants and lancer/evo's... can anybody give me any more information, or at least point me in the right direction.


I want something decently nice, and I want it to be as straightforward of a swap as I can essentially get. Thanks in advance.
