i managed to save 500$+ from buying an expensive caliper.. im so cheap i coudnt afford to ask a pro to do my calipers! lol

ive asked some auto shop here in vancouver for prices for 4 calipers to be painted.. some says 500+ and some even 800!!! WTH! it took me less than 50$ to do this and a whole day off (and some wooden blocks! lol)

i hope you guys like it coz i do! (IMG:style_emoticons/default/banana.gif)

What does this have to do with Brembos?

Because you painted yours red? I'm lost. Good job nonetheless.

Yeah he was looking for the Brembo look. I wanted to do that to my Roto Glow lancer but I am afraid it might change the cooling properties of the breaks. And if something goes wrong the dealer would give me shit about the warranty cause of the paint.

Proven that it won't alter cooling properties of brakes.

Putting the wheels under the car after they are taken off? Smart... never thought of that.... I guess it would be cheaper to replace my wheel than my medical bill for sewing me back to one piece.

That was just clowning around with them. There was enough glue left on them to stick them there long enough for the picture. I think most people these days are using Plastidip for most things now. That way you can peel it off when it gets messed up. Seems to be pretty safe stuff. We used it on the interior of my cousin's Crown Vic this weekend.

Since you have a White lancer, I would just take off the diamond and paint it. Or check ebay for vinyl stickers. I have red ones for my diamond and it looks real good. I'll take a picture right now with my phone. Wont be the best picture but you'll get an idea.

lol the rabbit actually makes sounds when you press it!

here's a short story about it.. (off topic?) i chose white because i was aiming for a white rabbit look not knowing that VW have actually a car named rabbit.. so my plan failed of putting the plate number "RABBIT" +rabbit toy on the dash! lol
