Hi, I was just wondering how much it would cost for a rebuilt turbo engine with everything for it to run turbo fine to be installed on a 91 eclipse 1.8L non turbo. Everything included with installation? If anyone knows please let me know.

Would it be cheaper to just buy a used turbo eclipse?

Talk to jbon ... i think its going to most likely be cheaper to buy a turbo eclipse ... because of all the fabrication needed for the 1.8

Are we talking 4G63T into a 1.8 shell or turboing a 4G37 (1.8L block) and dropping it into the 1.8L shell?

Id buy a turbo Eclipse/ Talon/ Laser. Way better base to start with. And the Tranny is built to handle more.
