Hey there,
I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on whats wrong with mine when the engine is cold like 60f and i start it in morning it clicks real bad for about 15-20 sec till the temp gauge is over 1/4 way up. I took it to mechanic and had all 24 valve lifters replaced and its still doing it anyone have ideas where to look next?
Thanks
mike

I have an 03 GTS and it does the same thing(Cold Start = Engine clicking noises). I usually turn the car off and right back on and it silences the noise, it works about 80% of the time. No idea what the problem is yet but I would like to know if you resolve the issue. I'm using 10W-30 right now but still have that same problem, any recommendations? Winter is around the corner (>_<)

Yeah my mechanic said its normal for v6, but I call bs. I put 1 qt of lucas in it and it cut the clicking down considerably but I don't believe in additive fixes, not right way to do things. Ill post if I find out what causes it, please do same if u happened to find out.
