ok... just went on vacation last week... longest drive so far in the outlander since we owned it.. usually just half hour to hour drives locally
3 1/2 hour drive each way to disney in orlando...
enjoyed the drive
had no trouble passing ... cruise was a must (drive by wire can be very tiring on the foot)
plenty of room for the stroller and all our luggage

so all in all i am very happy so far with mitsu (IMG:style_emoticons/default/grin.gif)

even if its a wagon...family type car...

I just returned from a 3 state road trip (California, Nevada, and Arizona) in my 2007 Outlander XLS. This was my first road trip in the Outlander. It performed well and the gas mileage wasn't too bad. The V6 engine had plenty of power whenever I had to deal with steep grades. I went on a long road trip three years ago in my G35 coupe which was a completely different experience. While the G35 was fun to drive on curvy roads, traveling in a sports car isn't very comfortable due to the harsh suspension. The Outlander is far more comfortable in comparison and the gas mileage is superior. The powerful VQ engine in the G35 isn't fuel efficient and requires expensive premium fuel. The price of performance. I'm ready to do another trip in the Outlander.
