I have been trying to find out this information for a little while now & I can't find any hard facts. I want to know if the current ZR1 (C6 model) will ONLY run through the 2010 model year or if maybe 2011 will be the last year. Everything that I have been finding has the 2011 Vette as a new C7 Vette with a redesign.

So anyone know when the last year of the ZR1 will be? 2010? 2011? Anyone?

If you have a website with hard facts....please post it.

There has been no official announcement, but rumors from inside sources indicates a late 2012 introduction for the 2013 model year. I frequent vette forums quite often and that is what I've gathered. Any particular reason you ask? I myself am planning on picking up a new c6 z06 sometime around january and I was wondering the same thing.

how's it going lewiman. as for a targa z06, no unfortunately they never did make one. reason being is the zo6 is made using an all aluminum frame, which alone shaves off 50lbs from the standard vette. the aluminum frame additionally is even more rigid than the standard c6, however without a top it would flex more than the standard c6 and be unsafe to drive at high speed.

not a whole lot, just surfing the site.
and i did find a guy making them custom, but he was charging like 10 or 12 grand i think. so almost half the cost on a used one.......

and sorry i don't have any hard facts for your question.

The only high end corvette to come in targa or convertible was the C4 LT4 or C4 ZR1... both of which are comparable to the C5Z and C6Z respectively.
