Am I right in thinking that ABS is an optional feature on the 1.6GL?

And if so, apart from the lack of a dashboard warning light (which of course may not be working), how can you tell if a particular vehicle is fitted with ABS?

Drives: 1997 Mitsubishi Diamante VR-S SUPER INVECS II , 1990 Mitsubishi Galant VR4 MR, 2006 Mitsubishi Triton PLUS 3.5 DOCH , 2001 Mitsubishi Galant GSR
On this model , the abs module is fitted near the brake master cylinder , very easy to see. Also there will be wheel speed sensor wires going to the wheel hubs
