Hi,

Need a question answered please...I just bought some new bulbs (the super bright ones) for my car and I replaced the dipped headlights no probs, but I cant find where to replace the main bulb. Is there another slot for the main bulb or is it just the one? Any help is much appricated.
Cheers

Most Colts in this year used a 2 beam headlight system (unless most Colt, Mirage RZ , BZR models etc) Meaning there is onlee one headlamp bulb per side. This one bulb has the low and high beam together in the same bulb.

Did yur model specify a 9005 and 9006 ( one is high beam and one is low) That is a 4 beam system , 2 per side. But most Colts took 9004 bulb , which has both the high and low . Sum models took H4 bulbs which were similar to 9004 as in it had both high and low on the same bulb , but it had a metal base and different connector. For the 9004 bulb yu will onlee need one per side, make sure not to touch teh glass portion on installation . Film and grease frum hands will cause the glass to over heat over time.

Yeah i was pretty sure it was goin to be 9004 or H4 . Most being H4 on that model , it has the high and low beam on that single bulb. Yu can now return the other 2 , or keep as spares LoL. No problem.
