After 2 inches of snow in some areas in western mass on 16th and 6 accidents on the highway yesterday due to black ice, i went ahead and ordered a winter set for me.

16x7 Sport Edition F7 Silver wheels wrapped in 205/60R-16 General Altimax Arctic. I might plastidip them as soon as they arrive LOL. Not really looking to be putting ugly big tires on my car and have crappy performance in dry weather, but.... safety is first! I will post up some pics once they arrive.

i've heard mixed reviews about blizzaks. People either love them or hate them. With Generals, people usually just love them, so i went with it. Plus it was the cheapest option other than firestone and i will NEVER get any kind of firestone tire.

I've got the same generals. They worked out very well for me last year.

I just picked up a set of michelin x-ice xi2. Hopefully they will do the trick this winter. A few people at work run them in the winter with no complaints so I figured I would give them a try.

Finally installed them today since its supposedly going to snow next week. Ride in dry weather is a lot better than i expected. I cant hear any road noise with my muffler and intake and thats really the only negative i have heard about these. In all actuality, the ride quality is SO much better than stock 18s, so smooth and soft - made me miss large cars again. Cornering is obviously not as good as with 18s but they do the job. Next we'll have to see how they perform in snow and ice.
And here's the most interesting part... i didn't order TPMS kit but i dont have any lights on the dashboard. I thought when installing wheels without TPMS our cars display tpms message, no? Either my car is f..d up or tirerack installed tpms without me paying for it (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

p.s. as you can tell i plastidipped them.
