Hi New to the site and forums so please excuse any mistakes.
I bought a 2002 L200 4life form a car auction last week ( big mistake).
Smokes like a train and no power plus over heats when put under load,
should i try to fix it or set it on fire?

Hi,
You don't say what engine etc you have in the L200 Diesel or petrol (Thats Gas in Nord America) and which model of engine (should be on the factory build plate on the firewall.
This will help a lot.
Check your local wreckers they might have a similar engine with low miles that you can swap in.
Just my $0.02 worth
