Galant 2000
Sorry if this has been asked but I have searched and searched.

The Blower switch for turning the A/C on and off the light has burned out and I would like to know the size, and for the defrost switch also.

Thanks

Ps if anyone needs to see where these little bulbs are located, so you can change them. I have pics.

Replace bulb. Wrap wires back. Re-install

In these pics I used LED. I do not recommend LED unless you know how to install.
Radio Shack has little 12v lights but size is bigger but they should fit, but I would recommend the correct size. And if you can find them let me know! Thanks!

Hi there,

I am so happy someone finally wrote something about this problem. ;-)

I am having this stupid problem for quite a while and it's really ennoying.
At first the left side of the heater,a/c,etc... panel lights stopped working. The right side of the panel was fine and actually is still working.
So, I thought the dash lights on the left just burned out. I took out the front panel,etc... but I couldn't figure out how to take off the knobs to be able to get to actual bulbs inside.
Then, frustrated so much I gave up at put everythign back. To my surprise the left side of the heater/blower dashboard had lights back on !!
I was stunned. Unfortunately after few days they were off again. I started to tap into the heater knobs and the lights came on again but again for only few hours. I figured out that the grounding must have been bad.

Anyway, I die to know how to get to bulbs and replace them. Do you have instruction or pics to show how to do that?

I actually, found a website sometime ago where they sell different color bulbs for Mitsubishi Galant dashboards. I will give you a link if you still looking for bulbs.

Thanks a bunch
