hey guys took my ride to my buddys shop today to get me valve seats replaced any thing else u guys would reccomend while the heads apart to do putting all new gaskets on it too

Some porting wouldn't hurt for future plans. Do you plan on getting some higher HP numbers? Also, 99 lifters are a must.

replace the VSS well worth doing if the heads are off and they are not very expensive to buy!

ok i got a 94 gto n/a
what elce would i have to buy to put the 99 lifters in. and what is the vss?

my gto has 160k on the moter and i whant to rip it apart
and clean it up and replace some thing like ,rings, rod barrings, head gaskit, ect
and i am also going to port and polish it i have time and im good at it

the VSS are the Valve stem/guide oil seals, when worn the car smokes on idle, if you inteed doing the heads these would normally be replaced along with everything else as a matter of course.
