Hello.Ok Iv had my Carisma 1.6 up for sale on the usuall web sites for a few weeks now with no interest. The obvious reason is that my two front CV joints need doing. So I think I might go ahead and try the repair myself.Im not sure wether to buy a set of just the NEW CV joints

or get a complete drive shaft

What do you think would be the best way for me to go.Bear in mind Iv never even attempted anything remotely as difficult as this?Any help on the actual repair is very welcome, pics would be even better. Thanks

It is a rough call. Since it will be best to remove the complete shaft to repair it , it would be best to get the complete shaft which seems yu will juss have to reuse yur inboard section that goes into the transmission . Versus repairing juss the outboard section which is highly more complicated.
