Hello everyone. I want to install aftermarket Seat Heaters/Warmers on my new 2009 Outlander but i before i purchase them, i want to see how hard it's going to be. I found a couple sites that sell Seat Warmers:

http://www.heatedseatkits.com/
http://www.checkcorp.com/seat-heater/seat-heater.asp (these guys have installers close by)

Both of these website claim to be easy. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

Has anyone done this successfully? Are there any good sites about how to do this? Anyone got a How to dismantle the seats diagram? Thanks in advance!

Aww nutz.. so probably not recommended to DIY eh? I don't want the airbags to stop working.. lol.. probably not a good trade off....

Anyone try doing this? I was hoping someone would have already done this and could give some pointers and pictures.. (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif) I contacted my local Mitsubishi dealer and they said they don't install seat warmers... Buuu!

actually with the airbags and the sensors in the seats most cars nowadays dont recomend any covers or extra cushions or anything that would interfere with the air bags..

so unless the car comes with a seat heater i wouldnt mess with the seats... sorry (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
