Drives: 1993 eclipse



Hi ,I have a 1993 eclipse 1.8.I have replaced the ecm,and the car will run with a shot of starting fluid.I have no power to the fuel pump.I would like to know where to start and if you could direct me to where the parts are to be checked.This is a project for my 14 year old son and we are really scratching our heads on this please help us we are losing the battle and my sons interest.

Try the Fuel pump relay.

EDIT: Also, this thread is being moved to the appropriate section.

where is the relay is it where the ecm is and is the part number et8 somthing

I am not sure of the part number, but it should be near the ECU. I have never messed with either personally, so I can't tell you for sure, but that is normally where they are located on mitsu cars.
