That might be a tricky one to find...

Did a little searching for you, 08 Lancer is in the list below the product. Might be worth shooting them an email to find out for sure.

Good luck!

No no, dont get the Pac SWI-X, your Kenwood unit should have built-in steering wheel control jack, meaning you need the PAC SWI-JACKv1 (http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_17946_PAC+SWI-JACKv1+-New+Version+of+SWI-JACK-.html)

Steering wheel controls are radio specific. Wiring can be a bit hard but all the directions come with the unit. The SWI-X is not bad but its universal so it uses an IR emitter to send a signal to the radio, meaning you have to place this little eye somewhere in the car, usually on the front of the glove box, so it sends a signal to the radio. Which means its basically a remote control. It works but the JACK is meant for your radio.

Just installed SWI-X on Chy Sebring Coupe 04 (same as Eclipse 04), reasons for me to buy SWI-X and not SWI-Jack:
cheaper, found on ebay
head unit already has IR remote
also have ipod dock (alpine ex-10) with IR remote
can easily upgrade to any brand (with IR of couse) in the future with SWI-X

took me a couple hours to install it, but overall a good product. it works like a charm, and I can control both units! finally I have no regret at all replacing the factory unit.

Sounds like a good deal to me! Where did you end up putting the IR eye?
