Got the Xenon 6000k low beam (9006) stock 35 watts from AMG with alchemist3136's DRL bypass...all worked fine...no splicing all plug and play. Simple.

I don't believe that you need a bypass for the fogs....just the low beams to take care of the daytime running lamps (DRL's)

The fogs should just be a simple plug & play.

Wrong.
6000k is definitely not the best light output, Russ. As im sure you all know, the higher the kelvin, the bluer the output becomes.
4300 - 5000k will give you the best illumination (what BMW/Lexus/Merc come out of the showroom with). I wouldnt go higher than 5000 if you want the whitest light possible.

Doesnt stop them 6000k looking good though - any higher and you start to look ricer (IMG:style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

6000k is not the whitest, but it is the best for my car. Since my car is octane blue.
