For anyone who wants pure white lights and doesn't want to pay the money for HID's, the Hoen light bulbs are a nice alternative.
I got the low beams, fog lights, and the license plate led lights. Cost about $90 US + shipping for all.

Pics of low beam and fog lights:

License plate LED lights:
For comparison, the left side is the stock bulbs, the right side is the Hoen LED light. You can really see the difference between the stock yellow bulbs and the white hoen led.

You don't like the hoen fog lights?

I ordered the license plate led's last Wednesday night and got them on Monday. Shipping must be longer to Canada.

Lol no im just kidding. I got the hoens this morning (took 2 weeks...)

I was late for work, but i didn't care, i just wanted to see how they looked so it took me 5 minutes to install. The driver side took a little bit longer because my evo plate mount but came on quick. They look ALOT better then the other 3 sets i bought, but im not seeing the tint of blue you speak of! But i dont really care, I just wanted them to not have ANY yellow in them.

(IMG:http://i262.photobucket.com/albums/ii97/t0omas/IMG00151-20091117-2034.jpg)

If it looks a bit yellow, its because i havn't washed the fog light lenses...

Ha ha, ok cool, looks like it worked out good for you. The pics look great, matches your HID's pretty good. And the blue tint I think I see sometimes, it's weird seems like it depends on the angle you look at it and the outside light or maybe the light in my garage. I swear I see a small tint of blue every once and a while but most the other times it just pure white, idk must be the angle and outside lighting playing tricks on my eyes. When I see them in a reflection in a window (like say I park in front a store with windows in the front), they just look pure white. But anyway, your pics look good, they match well. Looks much better than the other fog lights pictures you posted. I see all white in your pics. Glad they worked out for you.

And now that your front lights match and look great now, you might want to get the license plate led lights too, they really finish off the look.
(btw - the license plate led lights are 4500k, where I believe the fogs are 4000k)

I LOVE my hoens. Sometimes I feel like they're brighter than HID's. I've even gotten the finger from people walking in neighborhoods because I blinded them!

Hoens are a really good light if you dont want to spend the time/money installing HIDS, but i wish i saw jrox's thread on selling his relay harness instead of me doing it myself. Would of saved me 3 hours

i tried the sylvania fog and hoens bulbs, and hoens win hands down.

there is only one kind of w5w bulb?
The city lights at the ones farthest from the center of the car? close to the fenders, or close to the grill?

Who was the person with the blue city lights? (What were they and where did he get them from)

Quick question:

When you get your confirmation email for your lights being shipped:

As a reminder customer submitted images used on our web site or user reviews posted on enthusiast forums will receive a $5 credit back on their order so please keep sending us those before and after photos!

Does that mean that they charge $5 back on your c card, or they mail you a check for $5, OR does that not even matter they dont pay attention to it?

NY-09GTS and myself, really like them. I dont see how anyone could hate them, i personally dont think they look AS good if you have HIDS and the HOENS, but if you get all 3 sets of lights the high beams/low/fog then you will be pleased with the result.

Both me and NY-09GTS posted pics of the lights, so its a personal choice for yourself.
Keep in mind my head lights are HID.
I just bought the fog lights.

I drove my car to the grocery store last night when it was pitch black and i turned on my car, everything was fine and dandy. I usually dont turn on my fog lights inless its sunday night cruise night, or on the highway but i decided to turn them on for shits and giggles. While i was in park (my car is facing a wall) the angle of my lights (both horizontally and vertically) increased dramatically.

P.S: HOEN should be hooking me and NY-09GTS with a lifetime supply of these things for selling so many or at least a 5% commission.

(As for the $5 picture question, i think they paypal you or send some kinda money order if they LIKE the picture of your car and the fog lights)
I'm waiting for the summer time to submit my picture because i have winter donuts on ATM

honestly i went threw a couple sets of headlights/fog lights/high beams and if i didn't get the plasmaglow high beams i probably would of ordered a set of HOEN high beams.

The only complaint i have about HOEN is their communication, i would rate it 1 out of 10

Their product 9.5/10 (9.5 common face it, their is ALWAYS room for improvment lol)

Your being generous with your 1 outa 10 there.....I would give them less than zero!

But yes....I would highly rec. them if you don't want to go with HID's. I have....like you....tried many other brands of lights...be it on E-Bay or the Sylvania's (a couple of different versions) & they all blew within 6 months or sooner easily. In the process they toasted my wiring. I was really hesitant with buying these...
I stuck with the stock wattage & they have given me ZERO problems. They light up the road really well. Better than the stock bulbs....but I sometimes wish for more light. They have higher wattage bulbs & connectors available...but I don't want to risk BBQ'n anything. They are fine for me. When I have to throw on the high beams & the lows together....they really light up the night. Even if they were to go out tomorrow....I would buy another set in a minute. I like them that much.
If someone knows of a better bulb to try out that will last.....I'm always game....but these have been great & they are lasting.

Hey simmoes, like everyone else says, yes they are good. If you want pure white lights I don't like you'll be disappointed with these.
(and I have to thank six feet deep, he's the one that turned me on to them)
