I own a 2004 lancer es. It rides like crap, but that is what I would expect from a a base model. I have a friend who owns a 2005 eclipse gt that rides great and I am wondering if the struts could possibly work on my lancer. I think that since it is a similar sized Mitsubishi it might have some similar chassis architecture. I am looking into changing the quality of the ride and firming it up a little bit and I need to do it cheap. So a direct swap for another oem part would be cheapest I would think. Especially since I do not want to lower the car at all. Any info on other coil over swaps would be great. I know that this section of the forum is not too well traveled.
