can anyone tell me where the oil level warning ligth snesor is on a 1991 eci 3000 v6 shogun,not the oil pessure sensor but the level sensor,this yellow warning light comes on after about 3mins of running

They are normally right by the oil filter with a 1 wire connector.

Don't know where the sensor is but had a similar problem. Solved it with oil change and flushing oil then maintain at max level on dipstick.

bolted onto the side of the oil pan underneath by the oil filter.check with your local dealer as they have a sensitivity problem regardless of oil level.there is a newer less sensitive one available
