[SIZE=7]Newby here. I have a question you you guys. I do alot of posting over on evolutionm.net, that site has gone to trash so I thought I would try a new place. I have a major problem!! I have a 2003 Evolution 8 with a few mods. After a long drive(250 miles) I got home and washed my car. Then I took her out for a saturday night spin and GRRRINNND into 5th!! Everything in my body puckerd. Tried again, at about 60mph, nice and slow, clutch fully depressed and same thing, GRIND! So I try double clutching and still does not help. So I go onto evom.net and find out that about 60 percent of EVO owner are getting the same thing and I find out about a TSB. Sure enough MITSU has put out a TSB about this problem and have an upgraded synchro sleeve to fix the problem. Here is my problem..... I am a 30 year old man who doesn't street race, just love the crap outa his EVO. Take wonderful care of her. I know how MITSU is about mods on the EVO and am afraid to take her in to get this problem fixed under warranty. What do you guy think? Will I have any luck getting this fixed under warranty? Or am I SOL? :(

Thank you

As long as you have your catalytic convertor and no additional power adders such as nitrous, bov, intercooler or bigger turbo they should cover it and if you do have any major mods just remove them before taking it to the dealer.
