Yea so I bet some kid 35$ that I could beat him in a race. He has a civic ex with exhaust and headers. I have a completely stock eclipse RS. Who DO YOU think should win? I'd say me.....DOHC 2.0 against a SOHC...

Question off the line too.....how many RPM's do you usually start at?

as much as i hate to say it.....you are going to lose.

if you are a manual, launch at about 2500rpms. that will keep your wheel spin down.

wrong....its probably one of the cheapest cars to mod. there is probably 3 times as many mods for a civic than there are for an eclipse

two questions about the race though....are you auto or manual? is he auto or manual?

:) Aww... What do ya know? The stock Eclipse beat the cashed up Civic and the kid didnt know how many RPMs to start out at. I'm sure the kid was an okay driver.... its just Civic.... An eclipse should be able to take it out anyday. I havn't lost one Honda yet.

Good job scoring that $35 bucks bro.

this wasnt a stock vs. stock race. the civic had mods that should have given it an advantage over the stock eclipse. i chalk that win up to bad driving
