:( My name is Craig Pearson and I recently bought a Mitsubishi RVR from London. (I'm in Exmouth)

All was perfect driving back until I got to Honiton where the "exhaust over heating light" came on and the car instantly ran rough/lacking in power and sounding bad. . .

The light was comming on and off but i knew i was close to home so continued.

Since then its been in and out off the garage without any success.

I've and it fully serviced, had the cam belt changed, distributer leads changed and then it still runs really poorly. ie- dos'nt tick over proberby, rattle noise from the engine on acceleration, stalls occasionally etc.

My mechanic thinks it may need a new caytilitic converter. But I read that it now maybe a fault between the ECU and new oxygen sensor or the ECU is naffed????

My car is a recent import and its done very low miles. (21K), 1994 (L) reg.

Please adivse what you think it could be and if you think you can help with it.

Regards

Craig Pearson
